Experience you can feel comfortable with.
I’ve worked with seniors since 2003 and have been a licensed Realtor since 2014. I listen first, explain things clearly, and help you choose what makes sense.

Understand the situation first.
I've helped clients buy and sell homes, worked with investors, flipped properties, and handled plenty of situations that didn't fit neatly into a typical real estate transaction.
Today, I especially enjoy helping seniors, empty nesters and families navigate major transitions—whether that means downsizing, moving to senior living, or helping a parent sell a longtime home.
I also specialize in difficult property situations: foreclosure, inherited homes, probate, major repairs, unwanted rentals and other circumstances where simply putting a sign in the yard may not be the best answer.
Sometimes a traditional sale is right. Sometimes selling as-is makes more sense. Sometimes there's another option entirely. My job isn't to push one solution. It's to help you understand the tradeoffs and make a good decision.
Why I work with seniors
A senior move usually isn't just a real estate transaction. A longtime home can come with decades of belongings, repairs, memories, family decisions and a new living arrangement to coordinate.
That's exactly the kind of real estate I enjoy: a real problem to solve, options to explain and a practical way forward to build.
Sometimes the most useful first question isn't “How should we list it?” It's simply: “What do we do with the house?”

Home my entire life.
I'm a lifelong West Michigan resident, husband and dad of three. My family and Christian faith are important parts of my life, and we're a homeschooling family.
Outside real estate, I love music and pretty much anything that gets me outdoors and active—especially anything involving the water, boating and mountain biking. I'm involved in my local church and have served with Audio Scripture Ministries and other nonprofits.
Experience. Personality. Integrity.
Difficult transactions require more than looking good in a listing presentation. They require someone with the capability, discipline and care to see the transaction through to the end.
I want clients to get knowledgeable advice from someone they can trust—and I think working together can still be fun along the way.
You don't have to know what you want to do with the house before you call.
That's what we can figure out together.
